University College London Global Scholarship Information
The University College London Global Scholarship offers a total of 85 scholarships for the academic year 2024–25, with five scholarships specifically designated for students from India. This scholarship is granted based on financial need and is recommended by the Student Funding Department.
Eligibility Criteria for the 2024 University College London Global Scholarship
To qualify for the University College London Global Scholarship, candidates can be from any country outside the UK but must meet all of the following criteria:
- Have submitted a complete admission application (including the submission of references) for a full-time Master’s degree at UCL in 2024/25.
- Please note: Distance-learning options are not eligible for this fund; students must be coming to the UK to attend UCL in person.
- Be eligible to pay the overseas fee rate.
- Come from a lower-income background

Benefits of University College London Global Scholarship
The University College London Global Scholarship provides the following support:
- The bursary is valued at £15,000.
- Scholarship recipients are required to promptly inform the UCL Student Funding Office of any additional funding awarded for their UCL Master’s degree studies, whether received before or after the UCL Global Masters Scholarship is granted.
- The scholarship will initially be applied to cover the recipient’s tuition fees. Any remaining amount will be disbursed to the recipient in three equal installments throughout the academic year to support maintenance costs.
- The scholarship is valid for one year only, unless the full-time program extends to 2 years. In such cases, the scholarship will be distributed 50% each year.
- The UCL Global Masters Scholarship can be held in conjunction with other scholarships, studentships, awards, or bursaries. The UCL award amount may be adjusted based on the total value of other funds received by the student.
